Jeff Schneider, 2012 Corporate Claims Litigation Management Professional of the Year, Joins CLM Advisors

New York, NY — CLM Advisors is pleased to announce that Jeff Schneider has joined CLM Advisors. Jeff brings to CLM Advisors’ customers more than 20 years of property and casualty expertise in both technical and management arenas.

 

Most recently, Jeff served as Director of Claims for Advanced Disposal, an environmental services company operating in more than 17 states. Previously, Jeff served as the senior manager of liability claims for BILO Holdings, whose assets include Winn-Dixie Stores, and as chief operating officer for McCorkle Court Reporters. Prior to entering the corporate risk management field, Jeff held numerous technical and management claim positions over a 14 year career at Zurich NA.

 

Jeff’s focuses his consulting activities on strengthening how corporations and insurance carriers address their vendor, risk, and claim management practices. For technology and service vendors he helps organizations of all sizes to improve their messaging and value propositions for the market.

 

Jeff was the winner of the 2012 Litigation Management Professional of the Year, awarded by the Claims and Litigation Management (CLM) Alliance, a professional trade organization of more than 25,000 fellows and members. He is also the inventor of Face2Face technology, a litigation management tool designed to decrease targeted litigation expenditures, and was recognized and awarded as a Top Performer at Zurich for his leadership in both Strategic Initiatives and Alternative Dispute Resolution Strategies.

 

Jeff serves on many CLM committees, including the Professional Development and Leadership Committee, the Restaurant, Retail and Hospitality Committee and the Insurance Fraud Committee.  Jeff is also the Secretary of the Jacksonville, FL CLM Chapter. His articles on Mentoring and Leadership, Combatting Fraud and International Product Claim Handling have appeared in Litigation Management Magazine and other publications.

Mr. Harring’s advisory focus is on the optimization of property casualty claims operations, both internal and outsourced. CLM Advisors Retained to Study Use of Paperless Payments in P & C Claims Industry

New York, NY — CLM Advisors has undertaken a study of the use of paperless payments in the property casualty claims industry. The Study will examine industry perceptions and practices across a sample of large, moderate and small claims organizations, through data gathering surveys and interviews with senior claim executives.

Among other topics, the Study will examine the perceived value of existing and emerging technologies that eliminate paper and potentially speed payment to insureds, claimants, and vendors in the claims management arena.  Study participants will discuss the potential value of newer field and office solutions, as they relate to cost management, efficiency, customer satisfaction levels, and market differentiation.

Dean Harring, who will lead the CLM Advisors Study, said, “Paperless payment technologies have been evolving for some time.
